speakers...

playtime is over when fetch makes me bleed. retrieve zealot. her ballast upends every stop. a furrow appears. most things are coated. slick. willow debris interstices. we have a tug war. the victor wins what.

the pretend word that fills me up today: numberbund. let's imagine. it's the sash he tucks his digits in at fancy functions. he who? exactly. i've never known a numberbund.

sock monkey update: all limbs in place! hooray! still without face. also i've decided mine's a sock gibbon due to the (mis)proportion of her appendages. she's a right little gangledon.

reading about home stereo. the word speaker began to get to me. it's a strange word if you give it a minute. speaker. speaker. i put the book on top of the speaker. i have new speakers. the speaker sounds nice. yes, the speaker is in the corner. speaker. odd.

last night i decided to listen to yankee hotel foxtrot. the burned copy. that made me miss my friend. and the nice synchronisticicicicity of finding a letter in my inbox. i love that.

and this confirms what some of us already knew.

funny that the paleontologist's name is Jack Horner (in the dinosaur article). that's the name in the rhyme, right? or is my brain mixing?

best wishes with the sock gibbon.

thanks, miranda! it is indeed for month of softies. i especially like "encumberbund" because it does what it says. also, i may be a wearer of the mumblerbund. or the slumberbund.

sara, i laughed out loud when i read jack horner in the article. but i also second-guessed and thought maybe it wasn't the rhymey name after all. however, upon investigation, i can now say with confidence that horner is our man. he put in his thumb and pulled out a dinosaur. very clever of him.

thanks for the sock gibbon well-wishing. i've named her graciela.

sister sarah just got done making a sock monkey! What a strange world we live in, all my crafty pals are making monkeys. I think it will be my turn next. If only I can find the time....
Moves on, looking at the first week in september. Hope to see you soon.
