the shopping carts were performing an exodus. when leaving the lot one was struck in the intersection. another was wrangled and stowed in its stanchion.

watched miranda july's you and me and everyone we know. i'd never seen it. when it finished i couldn't decide whether i felt very melancholy or very happy. i've since settled on the latter. yes. and i hope to see more from her soon.

listening: the dark of the matinee-- franz ferdinand.

picked strawberries in the yard. they were warm from the sun and tasted good. a little tart though. probably i should have waited another few days to pick them.

g'night.

miranda july makes films. "you and me and everyone we know" is a film title.

i am not on drugs. i'm high on life.

btw, you're awefully nosey. :)

"btw, you're awefully nosey. :)" and what? You've taken thirty years to deduce this?

I Googled her and found this at imdb.com: "She chose to work under the surname "July" because she says it is the month that most facilitates her creativity."

My question is, how can she stable the cotton pony once a year? Is she a witch?

BTW, are her films any good?

i've always known you were nosey. i just thought i'd take a moment to point it out.

she probably is a witch.

i liked "you and me and everyone we know" quite a lot. notice how i used quotation marks for your benefit. you might like it. then again, you might not. this one's hard to call.

btw, my other drug of choice is disregard for the rules of grammar and punctuation.
